Each year, we partner with a small, carefully curated slate of short films and emerging filmmakers, providing world-class sound and mixing in kind.
Not because they’re safe.
Because they’re doing something.
SoundStart is curated, not application-based. We don’t run open submission rounds, pitch windows, or competitions. We find projects through: Conversations, recommendations, festivals and filmmakers whose work we are already paying attention to.
This allows SoundStart to stay focused, intentional, and built on trust rather than volume.
